Blurring the lines of Cloud Computing

I have been using Mozilla’s Prism for a few days. The program is really not much by itself, but it is the simplicity that makes its possibilities great. The idea behind Prism stems from blurring the lines of what you do in the cloud and running an application on your computer. Now, instead of going to (insert favorite web browser and typing an address and passwords), you open an app on your mac or pc just as you would for word, excel or anything else and get the same result without all the work. The setup is very easy and straight forward.

Apple and AT&T Exclusive for 1 more Year

Patiently waiting for iPhone to come to your cell carrier in 2009? An article published in USA Today mentioned the following confidential information. “In exchange for its payout, AT&T got a year extension, into 2010, on its exclusive distribution deal with Apple.” If you’ve waited this long for the iPhone you probably don’t mind another year tacked onto your longing.

iPhone better than PSP and DS Combined, Almost as Good as original Xbox

John Carmack while speaking at QuakeCon this week seemed to be quite impressed with the iPhone’s capability. He not only is excited to the possibilities, but went on to say that the iPhone is “more powerful than a Nintendo DS and PSP combined.” While he does show concern over the available memory for graphics, he said the iPhone is as powerful as a Dreamcast and almost as powerful as a ps2 or original xbox. Carmack also noted that they have two titles in the works for the iPhone.
