This is something you don’t see every day, a rainbow upside down. The giant smiley face in the sky was captured in Britain and only happens under perfect conditions. The sky must be clear and the ice crystals have to be a certain type to get this effect.

The University of Rochester has the first running 3D processor. The processor attempts to be more efficient at running multiple processes at once by spreading the workload over multiple processors stacked on one another.. The "cube" is currently running at 1.4GHz.

X-Plane, the long available flight sim application for Mac, Windows and Linux, is now available for iPhone. The video does not show all the details, but the application is quite impressive for running on a mobile platform. The app costs $9.99 and is available now thru the App store.
