Apple Recalls Another Power Adapter

 

  Apple is offering a recall on the Ultracompact USB power adapters.  The problem that is noted is the metal prongs can break off into the electrical outlet.  They are exchanging these free of charge and affects the adapters that come with the iPhone 3G and the one you can purchase separately.  The affected countries are the USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and Several Latin American Countries.  The new adapter has a green dot to indicate the difference.  You can also see the prongs have changed a little.

NBC Already Has 1 Million Downloads on Itunes Since Return

 

  NBC has come back to iTunes as most know and for good reason.  In the short time they have been back, 1 million downloads have been made from NBC and their different properties.  They must have noticed that it is not a good idea to try and compete with Itunes at this time and they were loosing a lot of potential cash.  Now if only they would realize they would make more money if they charged less, we would be all set.

  Line Rider has made its way onto the app store for the tiny price of $2.99.  The Free game that has people making incredibly detailed levels with simple tools now on iPod Touch and iPhone.  This version of the game is controlled by touch and offers a movie mode which allows you to upload your levels and movies for sharing with others.  It also includes the new draw and pan, gravity tilt and night ride features.  You can also search for your favorite tracks and download them to your hearts content.

BluRay Supported in OS X 10.5.6?

 

  The Rumor mill has started up again and it comes from Kevin Rose of Digg(we all wish we had his source). Bluray support should be built into the next update of Leopard.  Apple has pretty much always backed the BluRay camp over HD-DVD, but has never revealed plans to install the players in its Macs.
