Fortune has recently published the Top 50 most admired companies in the world. At the top of that list is Apple. The survey is based on a number of different factors which include product quality, social responsibility, people management and so on. They conducted the survey by asking businesspeople to vote for the companies that they admired most, from any industry.
Apple came out on top with Berkshire Hathaway, Toyota Motor, Google, Johnson & Johnson following. Apple was not the top in all categories, but overall averaged out to be the best of the best. Microsoft placed 10th, while US Airway Group, Family Dollar Stores, and Sears where in the bottom 10.
