With the recent slew of Apple products, comes the expected teardowns from iFixit who kindly give us a peek into what makes up the products many covet. This time around they have gotten their hands on the iPad 4. The iPad 4 or 4th generation is very similar to the half-year old iPad 3 or “The New iPad” which is now the old iPad, but I digress. Gone is the 30-pin connector and in place in the all digital Lightning connector. Other than the one external change, Apple has also replaced the processor with the new A6X which early benchmarks are showing are about twice as fast as the last version of iPad. Repairability of the iPad 4 remains low with iFixit giving it just a 2 out of 10 score.
