Very intersting test, indeed. I see the same router conflict, az between my Motorola Milestone and D-Link DI-524 router.

Download channel gets totally stuck and I have to reboot or stop Wi-Fi and wait 1-2 minutes. Then open 1-2 pages and it’s over again.
I managed to achieve partial success after playing with settings – encryption type, transmission rate (automatic/fixed max) and ignore of WAN side ping… but no full success yet.
Can you give some details on the problematic router (apple?) and some of the main settings?
