New Core i7 iMacs Showing Up DOA
Having to wait weeks for the new 27inch iMac would have been difficult, but worth it. That is until you plugged it in, hit the power button and nothing happened. According to Apple forums around the world and even Engadget themselves have experienced this very problem. People are reporting that their beautiful and expensive new iMacs are nothing more than a fancy room decoration. Obviously they can go to Apple and get a new one for free, but this unlikely scenario for Apple is a sad moment indeed for us Apple fans. Hopefully Apple acknowledges the problem and lets us know what the deal is with this major Fail.
Leaked Black Friday Brochure Shows Apple Deals For All
Last week we had a vague idea of what Apple may offer this coming Black Friday. It appears someone has leaked a brochure showing exactly what kind of deals we can expect for our after-Thanksgiving scurry to the store(s). Among the deals are iMacs starting at $1098, iPod Nano’s starting at $138, MacBook Pro’s from $1098 and iPod Touch’s from $178 among many other deals. Instead of heading to the mall or wherever your local Apple Store may be, sit back, grab a cup of coffee and click your way to Black Friday deals as these are online only.

Low End MacBooks Get The Unibody Treatment
The newest update to the MacBook came today with an all new unibody plastic line. The enclosure has a slightly different look to it, adds a glass multi-touch trackpad and an LED backlight for the screen. Price still start at $999 and offer the new 7-hour battery. Apple Tablet Coming Early 2010…Again
At this point it has been years of speculation and rumor about a tablet to be released by Apple. Current information says that Steve Jobs has finally signed off on the design and it is being prepped for an early January to March release of 2010. According to Apple Insider the project as been on and off again for 4 years or so with various revision. This time it looks like we will finally get a device somewhere between an iPhone and MacBook that will be an all-in-one device. There is little information available at this point, but the market is ready for a reasonable priced revolutionary tablet Mac. Lets hope this rumor does not get extended over and over.
