After an exhaustive search to find a way to protect my new iPhone, this was one of the few hardcase solutions that enabled a touch thru plastic protector without the need for an additional separate sheet for the screen. The only other comparable hard case I recently found is called ClearSuit, but I already have the mophie on order as it should be arriving next week. I'm thinking to protect it with the ZAGG invisible shield for every day (to avoid bulk) and use a hard case during travels etc... I can't wait to use either of these solutions as I have not taken my iPhone out it's original protective plastic yet... call me paranoid.

question concerning the case...I have had multitouch issues as well as issues hitting certain icons on the screen without hitting it with some pressure with another case of this type and I was wondering if that was the case with this phone?

  4. Aaron Zollo says:

So far I have had no problems with the issue you have said you were having.  ALso, I have not heard anything like this from others using the mophie case.  Th only issue would be when placing it into a dock.  You have to take the iPhone out of the case to do that.

So u can do a zoom pinch on photos using what most people use, which is the side of their forefinger and thumb to zoom? This is kind of hard to expain, but I hope u understand what I am talking about. The case I have now I have to put a lot of pressure on it to get the zoom to work and of course without the case u need barely any pressure to get the iPhone to zoom.

  6. Aaron Zollo says:

yes, from my experience, pinch and zoom were no problem.  I have large hands (as you can see in videos) and still, this did not present a problem.  Thanks for the questions and clearing that up as I forgot to put that in the video.

i wrote earlier anticipating the delivery of my hard case plus order from mophie. as described it works very well with no lag and complete control of the touch functionality. however my biggest issue is the back case delivered to me contained scratches and lines as if it was already been used. luckily the front part was pristine, but nobody wants a half used product. after numerous attempts to contact mophie customer service i still have no response. looking back i should have returned the product within the 30 day window or whatever the policy is for returns. so be forewarned if you get a half used/scratched item to return it immediately because mophie customer service will never respond to you. very disappointing for a promising product but no company integrity and follow thru which means negative reviews and comments costing them more money to bring customers back.

We returned another Mophie product about a month ago after it stopped working well just days into heavy use. It took 3 weeks, several unreturned calls, several unreturned emails, calls to the BBB and finally paypal intervention for them to acknowledge the problem and start a return. F- customer service.

mophie has revamped their customer service. I, Rebecca Distefano, have been put in place as Customer Service Liaison. Contact cs@mophie.com and ask for me. If you've had a problem in the past I will personally help you resolve your situation.
